THE EXPERIENCE

Process

Step 01
Plan Your Day
Every marriage begins with a story, and I want to hear yours. Over coffee or a call, we'll talk about how you met, your faith, your parish, and what you're hoping for on your wedding day. Before I ever pick up a camera, I want to know the two of you, because the most meaningful photographs are born from trust.
Step 02
Get to Know You
Together we'll map out what matters most to you: the moments you can't miss, the family portraits, the details you've prayed over and planned for months. We'll build a timeline that honors your Mass or ceremony, then make it official with your contract and retainer so your date is reserved and you can rest in knowing every moment is cared for.
Step 03
Your Wedding Day
This is the day you give yourselves to one another before God. My role is to quietly and reverently preserve it all: your vows, the sacrament, the tears in your parents' eyes, the joy as you walk out as husband and wife. That way, you can be fully present to each other and to the holiness of the moment. Your day, your story, kept for generations.
FAQ
Do I need a Catholic photographer for my Nuptial Mass?
You don't need one, but it helps enormously. A photographer familiar with the liturgy knows when to stay still and when to move, which moments are irreversible, and how to honor the Mass while still documenting it beautifully. I have also altar served as a Master of Ceremonies, which requires extensive knowledge of the Mass and every movement.
What areas of North Carolina do you serve?
I'm based in Greensboro and serve the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill), Charlotte, and surrounding NC communities. Travel fees may apply outside these areas.
How do I book my wedding date?
Start by reaching out through the contact form with your date, your parish or venue, and a little about the two of you. We'll set up a quick call to talk through your day, and once you're ready, a signed contract and retainer officially reserve your date.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 9–12 months ahead, especially for spring and fall Saturdays. If your date is sooner, still reach out. I have booked weddings 3-6 months in advance as well. If I'm available, I'd be honored to be there.
What's included in your wedding collections?
Every collection includes professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a private online gallery with print rights. Collections differ by hours of coverage, and add-ons like a second photographer, a betrothal session, or an heirloom album are available. Visit the Services page for full details.
How long until we receive our photos?
You'll receive a few sneak peeks within a week of your wedding, and your full gallery is typically delivered within 6–8 weeks.
What is a betrothal?
A betrothal is an ancient Catholic tradition in which an engaged couple solemnly promises before God, often in the presence of their priest and families, to marry one another, and receives the Church's blessing on their engagement. If you've never heard of a betrothal, ask your priest about it. It's a beautiful way to prepare for marriage!
What should we wear for our engagement session?
Choose outfits that feel like you and complement each other without matching exactly. Solid colors, soft neutrals, and natural textures photograph beautifully; avoid large logos and busy patterns. Feel free to bring a second outfit for variety, and wear shoes you can comfortably walk in.
Where should we have our engagement session?
Anywhere that's meaningful to the two of you: a favorite park, a downtown street, a family farm, or the place you first met. If you're not sure, I'm happy to suggest locations that photograph beautifully in soft golden-hour light.
What happens if it rains?
We'll adapt! I always plan backup spots, and some of the most romantic images come from umbrellas, moody skies, and covered porches. For engagement sessions, we can also reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating.
